Fundraising meets Pi and Pie!

Each year, our families come together together to raise money, get walkin', and celebrate Pi Day with lots of Pie.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • Register your Goddess for the Walk-A-Thon at:  https://www.pledgestar.com/fogala/

  • Email your family and friends. Use the student fundraising page to promote online pledge donations using social media.

  • Donations can be made online, by cash or check payable to Friends of GALA.

HOW DOES THE EVENT RAISE MONEY?

All students are encouraged to get sponsors for the event. Students are sponsored for their participation not the number of laps run.

 

Our goal is $200 per student and $95,000 for the school. That's just $20 from 10 sponsors. You can ask friends and neighbors or ask your parents to share the sponsorship information via email or social media.

STUDENT PRIZES

Student prizes:

  • For every $50 collected your goddess will receive a virtual raffle ticket. The raffle drawing will be held immediately after the walkathon on March 11th.

  • Winners will be selected at random by Dr. Hicks.

  • Top earner will receive an amazing prize valued at $300 of your choice.

  • Raffle prizes: E-gift cards to Starbucks, Amazon, Jamba Juice, Blaze Pizza, Sephora, Ulta Beauty, Target & Barnes & Noble.

advisory&

teacher prizes

Advisory prizes: Any advisory class that raises $5,000 will earn a Netflix class party.

Teacher prizes: The top advisory for middle school & high school will earn $100 for it's teacher.

​

School incentive:

  • Raise $3,140 by February 21st to witness two GALA teachers go head to head in a Zoom lip-sync battle.

  • Raise $31,400 by March 8th to observe two additional GALA teachers in a lip-sync battle.
